Dr. Karena Wu is the founder and clinical director of Active Care Physical Therapy, which has offices in New York City and Mumbai. She has been a physical therapist in New York City for almost 19 years. She earned a master's degree in physical therapy from Columbia University's Program in Physical Therapy and a clinical doctorate in physical therapy from Temple University. She has completed extensive manual therapy training, specialising in the Maitland Australian Approach and Myofascial Release. She is a Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. She's a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist, Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Kinesiology Tape Practitioner, and Pilates Instructor, among other credentials. She is also certified in LSVT BIG, FMS, and SFMA Level 1.
